Microsoft launched Exchange Server 2013 Preview on July 16th 2012. Lets have a look, how to install Exchange Server 2013 Preview on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
I am installing E2K13 Preview on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. But you can install it on Windows Serve 2012 RC as well.
First we will install prerequisites, and the way of prerequisite installation remains the same as it was in Exchange 2010.
Step 1: Run the below command in Windows Power shell.
Restart the server after the installation.
Step 2: Install the prerequisites, there are total 8 prerequisites for E2K13 Preview and is how they looks
Select Don't check for updates right now and click next.
Accept the License Agreement and click on next.
Specify your Error Reporting preference and click next, I have selected No.
Configure Client Access Server and click next
Make you Server Role Selection and click next
Installation path, I have kept it on default location, click next
Malware scanning, which is brand new in 2013. I've disable it. You can read more about this under Anti-Spam and Anti-Malware Protection in the TechNet documentation.
Select an option for the Customer Experience Improvement Program and click next
Final readiness checks will be done.
Installation of Exchange Server 2013 Preview is successfully done.
In my next article I will be writing on OWA, EAC and few other features of E2K13.
Cheers,

You can download the all the prerequisite from here
Install all the prerequisite as both Mailbox and Client Access Server Role will be on the same server.
You will have to restart the server several time as while installing the prerequisites.
Now we are going to run /PrepareAD now running /PrepareAD is the same with small change. I should be run like Setup /PrepareAD /OrganizationName:EXCHANGE /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
You will have to run it with /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms swith or it won't work. This is something as in Exchange 2007and 2010 it use to ask "Press key if you don't agree the License Terms".
Once /PrepareAD is complete successfully you are ready to install E2K13 Preview. Run the set up file or install it from shell or command prompt.
Accept the License Agreement and click on next.
Specify your Error Reporting preference and click next, I have selected No.

What for?
If your domain is running windows server 2003 SP2, then you don't have to do any transfer.
Just proceed with installation.

Can you post the screenshot on which step you are getting stuck!
Are you still stuck on CAS server Role issue?
Setup file is showing Microsoft Exchange server 2013 Setup..It should be Exchange Server 2013 Preview Setup ...Right
Regards,
Prashant
No, it should show Exchange 2013 Setup only, it's not Preview, but it's RTM for production.

Prashant

)..Please help me out..It is very urgent
First question, are you installing Preview or RTM edition?
Second, did you ran that command which I posted?
If nothing works, formate the box and reinstall the windows and install exchange.
Let me know the status.
I have re-formatted windows box..And try'ed...
1.i have download'd exch setup form http://technet.microsoft.com/pl-pl/evalcenter/hh973395...
2.i have installed Install-WindowsFeature AS-HTTP-Activation, Desktop-Experience, NET-Framework-45-Features, RPC-over-HTTP-proxy, RSAT-Clustering, RSAT-Clustering-CmdInterface, Web-Mgmt-Console, WAS-Process-Model, Web-Asp-Net45, Web-Basic-Auth, Web-Client-Auth, Web-Digest-Auth, Web-Dir-Browsing, Web-Dyn-Compression, Web-Http-Errors, Web-Http-Logging, Web-Http-Redirect, Web-Http-Tracing, Web-ISAPI-Ext, Web-ISAPI-Filter, Web-Lgcy-Mgmt-Console, Web-Metabase, Web-Mgmt-Console, Web-Mgmt-Service, Web-Net-Ext45, Web-Request-Monitor, Web-Server, Web-Stat-Compression, Web-Static-Content, Web-Windows-Auth, Web-WMI, Windows-Identity-Foundation
3.What is this Preview RTM...?
Regards,
Prashant
And i have sent screen short to you yes'day...you can come to know..
Preview is nothing but BETA. Microsoft came with new term to replace BETA.
In the screenshot I did saw you see CAS option. You are not able to check that box?
i can check mail box and client access roles ..But i am uanble to get client access server option..where we can assign domain name..
If we won't get this option we can't configure e-mail account on outlook..and we can't add New-ClientAccessArray
If i am Wrong...How to Configure Outlook e-mail account using exchange 2013 user account(exchange Mode)..And also I did’t get client array server option(Assign Domain Name). How did you configure new cas array on exchange 2013…?
What is the issue you are facing to create outlook profile?
You won't get CAS Array option, because:
Now, since Exchange Server 2013 dumped using RPC-over-TCP, I no longer see the purpose in creating the RPC Client Access Array object (New-ClientAccessArray). Instead, it suffices to configure multiple Client Access Servers with the same internal hostname for Outlook Anywhere.
Go through Michael's article:
http://michaelvh.wordpress.com/tag/cas-array/
Excellent....!!!!!!
Outlook account should be configure as a POP3,SMTP or Auto discover or Exchange mode..Please let me know..
Auto discover and what is Exchange Mode?
POP3 and IMAP is used for NON MAPI clients and there is no SMTP protocol to configure outlook with exchange.
When i am sending a mail..Using owa it is getting stuck in Drafts..And i restarted all exch services...
Regards,
Prashant
Is it internal email or external email?
Internal mail :)
It is internal mail
